Music has always been the area of pop culture that I paid the least amount of attention to so I am not able to satisfactorily explain why I like certain music and dislike other music. I apologize for the lack of depth in the following:

I am a big fan of 4 and like 5, 3, and 2. Totally agree on 9 and 6. Death Cab for Cutie is the name of a song performed by the Bonzo Dog Do-Dah Band in the Beatles movie Magical Mystery Tour. Given your hatred for the Beatles it’s understandable that you wouldn’t have seen this.

I don’t like the Fleet Foxes. Their music just doesn’t do anything for me. Dudes with acoustic guitars just bug me. They always make me think of those guys around campus who just sit around waiting for a group of girls to flock around them as they play some James Taylor tune. I hate James Taylor as well. Saturday Night Live did a funny sketch about that once. It had dueling guys with guitars vying for the attention of a group of girls. The girls become displeased with one guy and beat him to death and then lavished attention on the other. So, that’s why I don’t like the Fleet Foxes.

That got really off point. I will just say that I don’t like Cake or Justin Timberlake and I don’t get the big deal about Bob Dylan.
